Motherhood is filled with joys and challenges, ups and downs, smiles and tears. As our signature event, the Super Mom 5K Run/Walk ™ creates an empowering, uplifting, and inspirational event that celebrates SUPER MOM’s everywhere.

Everyone is welcome to participate; Women, Men, Kids, Mom’s, Grand Mom’s, God Mom’s, Step Moms, Aunts, Uncles, In Honor of Mom’s, In Memory of Mom’s, Friends and Families too! This day is Family Fun for EVERYONE!

Times Saturday, April 9, 2016 6:30 am: Registration/Packet Pickup Open 8:00 am: 5K Start (3.1 miles) 9:15 am (or immediately following 5K): Kids Fun Run (Free) 9:30 am: Award Ceremony  

T-shirts All entrants will receive a specially designed race T-Shirt and SUPER MOM 5K Cape. Sizes are unisex and are guaranteed through Saturday, April 4th. 

Entry Fee Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Thru April 4: $27 April 6 thru April 8: $32 Age 17 and under/age 65 and over (must show ID) Thru April 8: $22* *Paper applications only! Race Day – All Entries: $37– Cash or Check Only Kids Fun Run: Free

The Darcy J. Foundation’s mission is to serve mothers and their families in local communities, inspiring them to live healthier lives, to support education and to get involved in their communities.

A percentage of the proceeds will also benefit COMPASSIONATE HANDS AND HEARTS BREAST CANCER OUTREACH, in their fight to support those needing help battling breast cancer.

Packet Pick-Up

Packet Pick-Up Pick-up race number, T-Shirt, & info will be held at Glenridge Middle School – 2900 Upper Park Rd, Orlando, FL 32814 on Thursday, April 7th from 5pm-9pm, Friday, April 8th from 5pm-7:30pm Packets will also be available Race Day from 6:30am – 7:45am.


Want to share in the excitement of this fantastic cause-driven family fun? Events like this can’t function without the hard work of volunteers. Volunteering is an excellent way of helping out without having to be a runner/walker yourself. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to see why these races are so much fun! All volunteers receive a free Super MOM 5K T-shirt. Kids/adults of any age are welcomed. It’s a great way to fulfill required volunteer hours and have fun with friends. You can be a part of the following:

  • Starting Line Crew – Set up and tear down the starting line, and corral runners at the start
  • Registration – Assist race day registrants and pass out race packets
  • Race Course Officials – Make sure runners stay on course
  • Water Stop – Pass out water to thirsty runners along the course
  • Finish Line Crew – Help runners through the finishing chute, pass out water, cheer on finishers, and set up and tear down finish
  • Food / Drinks – Distribute breads and fruits and drinks to ravenous runners after they finish the race
  • Games – Assist with small, kid-friendly games near the finish line
  • Specialties – Got a talent you wish to share? Baking treats/breads for runners, decorating, blowing up or twisting balloons, playing games, telling jokes, Jedi mind tricks, etc. No talent is too small.
  • Clean up Crew – Take it down, pack it up

Individual Awards

Top Ten Male and Females will receive awards. This is an un-timed,  un-scored run. Be sure to look at the finish line clock for your time.

Team Awards

We will honor and award the largest team, top fundraising team and the team with the most moms!

Restrictions: For safety reasons, bicycles, in-line skates, skateboards, and dogs will not be allowed in the race. The use of headphones is discouraged.  Runners and walkers with baby joggers or strollers must start at the back of the corral and are asked to maintain a 12 minute per mile pace or slower. Participants in the 5k must be able to maintain a 20-minute per mile pace.
